#RPGaDay 2017: Alternate Questions

Every once in a while, people find that they lack a required point of connection to an #RPGaDay question and feel that they have no answer to share. As one of the fun things about this is posting a response for all 31 days, drawing a blank for a question can be frustrating.

When in doubt about a question, think positively and share something you like about the hobby within the topic area of the question. If it should happen, if no answer can be found to one of this year’s questions,  Alternate Questions will be posted here.

Alternate Questions

  • What do you look for in a review of an RPG?
  • Campaigns: do you prefer set-length or open-ended play?
  • How long does it take to learn to get the most out of a game?
  • What do you want out of an RPG experience?
  • What gives an RPG its ‘replay value’?
  • What part or parts of a session do you look forward to the most?
  • What makes an RPG book special in your eyes?
  • What would appear on an RPG book cover that would make you want to play it?
  • How far from human do you enjoy getting the chance to be in an RPG?
  • What is the oldest game you have played, or still play?
  • Describe a moment of wonder that arose in play.
  • Have you learned a skill because of events in a game? Tell us about it!
  • What section do you read first when you get a new game? Why?
  • Suggest an RPG with engaging solo play
  • Which RPGs facilitate running very large groups enjoyably?

Check back regularly as this list may grow and change.
