#RPGaDAY2025 DAY 28: SUSPENSE

RPGaDAY2025 has reached its twenty-eighth day, and the prompt is suspense. Given the huge number of Journey references made on Day 7, I feel no sense of duty to include the obvious joke in this post, which is nice  – probably for both of us.

#RPGaDAY2025 DAY 27: TACTIC

#RPGaDAY2025 has reached its twenty-seventh day, and the prompt for Day 27 is tactic. On the heels of yesterday’s ‘nemesis,’ thinking about a good tactic now is either madness or genius. Of course, when faced with that sort of enemy, there might be no discernable difference between them! What is your tactic?

#RPGaDAY2025 DAY 26: NEMESIS

#RPGaDAY2025 has reached its twenty-sixth day and the prompt for Day 26 is nemesis. This is a very popular word in and out of gaming, and of course that popularity has caused its meaning to drift to one of lesser stature as a result, like awesome or groovy. Unlike many other words whose ships have sailed and sunk taking their original meaning with them, the meaning of nemesis can still be saved…

#RPGaDAY2025 DAY 25: CHALLENGE

#RPGaDAY2025 has reached its twenty-fifth day and the prompt for Day 25 is challenge. With the end of the event less than a week away, it can be a challenge to cross the metaphorical finish line, but this has been another good year for participants finding effective ways to keep posting as August makes its way toward September.

#RPGaDAY2025 DAY 24: REVEAL

This is the twenty-fourth day of #RPGaDAY2025 and today the prompt was leaked over a month ago now and has been impossible to keep out of the news ever since. Even on this very blog, where you might assume we might have total control over the content, the prompt was directly referred to. I guess the urge toward freedom by information is a true thing. If, however, your spoiler defense mechanisms are sufficiently trained to have missed all of this, then now you can safely discover today’s prompt. Are you ready?
