#RPGaDAY: Day 25 – Familiarity (Emotion; Grace; Space: 1999)
This is the 25th day of #RPGaDay2026. It’s a Tuesday, and today is the first day of the final 7 days of the event. This version of the event was mainly keyed to memories of or thoughts about people, either characters or fellow players, and this final week digs into some rich veins for that perspective. Whether we have been using the prompts to talk about general RPG things, demonstrating one or more specific RPGs, sharing character creation, or inspiring some kind of art, all of the prompts are about the experiences which arise from playing these amazing games and interacting with the amazing people who play them. This week’s filter for considering the prompts is Emotion. Today’s child is full of Grace so that is our daily filter. Our prompt for the day is Familiarity.

#RPGaDAY: Day 24 – Distance (Emotion; Fair; Space 1999)
This is the 24th day of #RPGaDay2026 and when I looked last night the Moon was still with us, but for the purposes before us this “Emotional” week we will have to accept the notion that a terrible accident on the far side of the Moon has propelled our beloved satellite on a course away from us and on into a galaxy of adventure – and a lot of peril. With that odd notion accepted, we are ready to embrace a licensed RPG which is as willing to address physical heroism as it is psychological pressure – Space: 1999. Today’s look at the Space: 1999 RPG, an application by Modiphius of 2D20 to the dramatic 70s SFTV series by Anderson Entertainment, uses the very appropriate prompt ‘Distance’ and our daily filter, this being Monday, is of course, Fair of Face.

#RPGaDAY: Day 23 – Fortune (Instinct; Blessed; All for One)
This is the 23rd day of #RPGaDay2026 and the 4th of 5 Sundays in the event this year. Sunday’s child gets a full allotment of good stuff according to the predictive poem of periods past, so let’s plaster this particular post with positivity like no other. Our prompt for today is Fortune. It’s another flexible prompt which can take us in different directions from luck to wealth and from past to future. This is our last day to take the idea of Instinct into consideration, and it is our final day of enjoying memories past and yet to come with All for One: Regime Diabolique.

#RPGaDAY: Day 22 – Grit (Instinct; Hard Work; All for One)
This is the 22nd day of #RPGaDay2026. This should only come as a surprise to those who are unsure of the date. Those who are synchronized with our clock and calendar bound society and have the grit to weather all the hard work it brings, will instinctually sense also that there are a mere 9 days left in this grand celebration of the unmatched greatness of roleplaying games. Hopefully, we can make the most of it. In that spirit, there is but one more day of All for One: Regime Diabolique posts to follow this one, then it will be time to switch to the next game. As old hands will have gleaned from the above, today’s prompt is Grit, the daily filter for Saturday is “works hard for their living,” and the weekly filter for the 17th through 23rd has been “Instinct.”

#RPGaDAY: Day 21 – Charity (Instinct; Kindness; All for One)
This is the 21st day of #RPGaDay2026 and today we are all Friday’s children. Can you imagine a world where that might be so – everyone ‘loving and giving’? If you are a gamer, you can. What bounds are there to your imagination and capacity to realize that imagination in play, making it feel real in the process? None, I say. This is the 21stth day of #RPGaDay2026 and today we are all Friday’s children. Can you imagine a world where that might be so – everyone ‘loving and giving’? If you are a gamer, you can. What bounds are there to your imagination and capacity to realize that imagination in play, making it feel real in the process? None, I say. Our weekly filter, the surprisingly enjoyable Instinct is still with us for a few more days. The prompt for today is tightly bound to Friday’s child, being the essence of someone ‘loving and giving’. In other words, charity.
