#RPGaDAY: Day 17 – Intensity (Instinct; Fair; All for One)
Posted by Runeslinger on August 17, 2026 · 2 Comments
This is the 17th day of #RPGaDay2026, we are in the second half of the event, and I will be sharing one of my favorite games of all time this week. It’s intense. Today our prompt is Intensity (or Integrity if you prefer – see the alternate prompts). Our weekly filter will be ‘Instinct’ all week, and the daily influence for this response comes from Monday’s child being ‘fair of face.’ The game I have chosen to share responses from this week is well-known as one of my absolute favorites. It pushed itself into the queue lining up on my shelves because according to it, I have been neglecting my duties as a musketeer.

#RPGaDAY: Day 16 – Composure (Associates; Blessed; WILD)

This is the 16th day of #RPGaDay2026 and we are now finishing the weekend in which we segue into the second half of the 13th run of this celebratory event. Today our prompt is Composure. Our weekly filter is the last day for ‘Associates,’ and our daily filter is the one that all the other days get jealous about, ‘blessed,’ despite the obvious propaganda by the Ra Foundation.

#RPGaDAY: Day 15 – Endurance (Associates; Hard Work; WILD; Independence Day)

This is the 15th day of #RPGaDay2026 and we are in the weekend in which we segue into the second half of this event. Today our prompt is Endurance. Our weekly filter is ‘Associates,’ and our daily filter is ‘works hard for a living.’ This is the first half of the mid-point in this 31-day event. For those of you who are still managing to post every day you have our respect. Champions like the Pink Phantom are doing daily podcast releases starting with world building an old-fashioned way, and event-founder David Chapman is still posting character art daily. That’s impressive, right? RPGaDAY is not a competition though – it’s an opportunity to blend your voice with other gamers and praise our hobby. Life might not give you enough time to post every day, but we all appreciate the days when you can and do post, and are curious about what it will be. This pep-talk is brought to you by Saturday, the number 15, and the magic of roleplay. Don’t give up! We are cresting the hill and from tomorrow it’s all a downhill grade~

#RPGaDAY: Day 14 – Regard (Associates; Charitable; WILD)

This is the 14th day of #RPGaDay2026 and it is Friday. We dodged a bullet with yesterday not falling on this date! Today our prompt is Regard and the tone shifts from some of the darker prompts of earlier this week. Our weekly filter is still the very neutral ‘Associates.’ I guess it is up to you how to take the remaining daily filters. Today’s is ‘Loving and Giving,’ so that is harder to turn to the dark side, as it were.

#RPGaDAY: Day 13 – Strain (Associates; Distance; WILD)
Posted by Runeslinger on August 13, 2026 · Leave a Comment
This is the 13th day of #RPGaDay2026. I have been finding lots of interesting and thoughtful posts out there to recommend and share, as well as insightful and quirky short ones. It’s always fascinating to see how people respond to what they see suggested in the prompts. This year, with weekly filters such as this week’s ‘Associates,’ and the daily filters like today’s ‘Far to Go,’ each daily prompt or daily question can be put into different contexts, dealt with on their own, or used to inspire something else. Today’s prompt is strain, and at this point in a monthly challenge it is normal and understandable to start feeling some. Fortunately, with a game like WILD to support my responses this week, I am not feeling any. Let’s get into it!
