#RPGaDay2022 – Launch!

#RPGaDay returns for its ninth year today, August 1st, 2022. There have been many changes throughout the years both to the event and to the world the participants dwell in and so this year’s infographic demonstrates a return to the question format of the first few years with a theme of launching into play. Getting started. Getting started again. Helping others get started. Starting something new.

#RPGaDay2022 – Conversational Style

This year, the prompts are organized into six days of the classic question types (who, what, when, where, why, and how) with an activity day set for each of the Sundays complete with rolling dice. It is our hope that the prompts serve as a launching pad for quick and conversational posts (of whatever type inspires you, on whatever platforms you enjoy) sharing positive aspects about RPGs.

As usual, David Chapman, now back at the helm of the Dr. Who RPG, is my partner in hosting the event. We paired up for a video going deeply into RPGaDay which you can watch here or listen to here. You can find David’s posts for this year on his Autocratik blog as well as the best version of the infographic, text form of the questions, and translations.

As always, I look forward to finding what you share and in seeing you share the posts of others. It is amazing when August lights up the internet with positive posting about games, gamers, hopes, dreams, and great memories.

See you out there!
