Day 17: #RPGaDay 2018 – “Compliment”

Week 3: Describe             Prompt 17: the best compliment you’ve had while gaming

This prompt for #RPGaDay2018 is spectacularly easy!

“That was a lot of fun. Thanks!”

Today, I get to be the soul of wit. It’s a shame I live in Daejeon or there could be a double entendre to make.

While it may seem like a simple statement and hardly worth the mention, I find it gets right to the heart of things and, in its earnest delivery, made me feel like the session had been fun, that it had mattered that it had taken place, and that my part in the fun had been recognized.

All things considered, that is quite the compliment!

Tomorrow

We enter our third weekend and its theme is support and inspiration for gaming sessions.  The prompt for Saturday, Day 18 of #RPGaDay2018, is to discuss art and Sunday’s is to talk about music.

As has been my habit since the second year of #RPGaDay, I am also keeping pace with the prompts on video. The content of the videos and the blog overlaps, but is not exactly the same, and where the greater emphasis on detail resides varies from day to day.

#RPGADAY 2018

This ends the third week of the fifth iteration of the monthly roleplaying gaming celebration launched by Autocratik for all forms of social media. Share your responses however you prefer to share. If you want to get involved, grab and share the infographic with the prompts and jump right in!
